House of Google AI + Fund My Crazy: Making Gemini Part of Student Life

Brief
Fund My Crazy was a national student competition hosted at IIT Bombay, where students used Gemini to develop ideas and pitch them for the chance to win ₹1 crore.
The event was judged by Varun Mayya, Sahiba Bali and Tanmay Bhat.
The most beautiful part about this experience was that these young folks built and presented their ideas in public, and that gave many of them a completely new level of exposure and confidence.
Alongside Fund My Crazy, House of Google AI created an experiential environment where students could interact with Gemini and its capabilities.
The opportunity was to make Gemini feel useful and relevant to students through the ideas they were building, the experimentation happening through Gemini and the physical experience around it.
What I did
- Social content strategy
- Content briefing
- On-ground content planning
- Paid amplification
- Agency stakeholder management
- Content coordination, briefing the participants, judges, production team to capture content
- Coverage of House of Google AI
- Coverage of Fund My Crazy
- Production coordination and approvals
- Ensuring content worked across the different physical experiences
- Coordinating content and production requirements across both locations
On-ground
One of the practical challenges was that Fund My Crazy and House of Google AI were happening across different parts of the IIT Bombay campus.
I coordinated the content and production requirements across both locations, including shoot schedules, people, production and the different experiences that needed to be captured.
The students had the opportunity to build and present their ideas in public, and the experience gave many of them a completely new level of exposure and confidence.
